I immensely admire the translator, though I have to wonder how much s he had to change to turn the original into good English poetry. The poet seems to throw up her hands, chrjstensen her book is still at its midpoint; she has plenty more to catalogue and cherish in the face of this menace.

No trivia or quizzes yet. The word choice was excellent and I felt let into the work by the poet which seems somewhat rare these days. After her trek through beauty and destruction, Christensen seems to take refuge in the natural world, and find sense in nature amidst all the senselessness of human killing and hate.
