Just watching Arian explore New York City was worth the price of the book alone! Puritans didn’t have buttons. All in all, Breath of Magic was good. Precocious Puritan and aspiring witch Arian Whitewood spends her lonely nights dreaming of magic and excitement.
Flying unsteadily on her broomstick, she suddenly finds herself among towers of glass and metal, then tumbling from the sky to land teresq the feet of a man with frost-gray off and a seemingly flint-hard heart. Overall however the book was still a page turner.

My only complaint magci that the villain has a name like Wite Lize, or something like that. Hadn’t her rosebud lips parted as if to welcome a kiss from a prince who might never come? I call tteresa my ‘take a break’ book, when you medeidos to change the flavor of what you normally read. Arian was developed well enough as a character, though Tristan didn’t really seem to be anything other than a hurt, rich young man.

There are no discussion topics on this book yet. College was in my way, but this October I figured I would pick it up for the witchy season. I will most definitely read more books by Teresa. This one missed the mark for me.
The twists and turns in the plot were quite unexpected. While being tried and punished for witchcraft she flashes herself to New York city to a “prove you have magic and I’ll give you 1 million dollars” contest sponsored by Tristan Lennox, a bored with life billionare. I also love Copper. But there’s also a lot of serious stuff about the hero’s tortured past, and the playful heroine’s all-out effort to teach the sad, serious hero how to trust, and ultimately, how to love again.
Trivia About Breath of Magic After the prologue, the book began in Gloucester, Massachusetts in where Arian Whitewood is a “witch in learning” while living with a village of Puritans.

Want to Read saving…. A few laugh out loud moments, but for the most part, boring, mundane stuff. Preview — Breath of Magic by Teresa Medeiros. Where does Teresa Medeiros come up with this stuff? Cue hilarious meetings between a Puritan and that baffling thing we know as electricity. The historically sections lacked some accuracy, but it helped to move the scene.
This was so much fun.

I know the reader isn’t supposed to like him at first, but even when I was introduced to some of his softer qualities, such as “he was nerdy,” “he lived in an orphanage,” and finally “his mother used him because he was rich,” I still di I usually enjoy Teresa Medeiros, but I couldn’t even finish Breath of Magic.
